Dr. Leo Garcia is a dedicated sponsor of Mision Mexico Foundation (MMF).
MMF is a charity based in Chiapas, Mexico, that began as an orphage for some of the state's most vulnerable children. It has since developed into a community service that provides refuge, safety and a therapeutic home for neglected and mistreated children, access to quality education, community programs for vulnerable mothers and babies, a community health centre with free access to pediatric and adult health, a community kitchen, and much, much more!
Of particular delight to Dr. Leo, is that now more than one of the children who have grown up in Mision Mexico have gone on to study (and graduate) as medical doctors, truly changing the trajectory of their lives.
